What is Provenance?

Provenance Drums decided to build the ultimate historical musical instruments. They may be new in their drum form but each one has a history, a story, a Provenance.

The material of a Provenance shell is its unique historical fingerprint. Be it the engine of a Jaguar sports car, a racing yacht, or even part of a WWII Spitfire; if we can source it, we will make a drum for you. Not all materials are suitable, but where possible, and using our experience, we will make a drum from your chosen piece of history.

To authenticate each drum, we include “Proof of Origin” data containing pictures and information about the Provenance of your snare drum.
